Kramer's Cabin Trip--4/29 to 5/1/2005

This year's trip to Kramer's cabin was productive for some and unproductive for others.  Some people caught as many as six trout--others like this poor scribe got absolutely nothing.

We arrived Friday night and pitched tents.  Everybody slept through the night pretty well.  In the morning, the real focus of the trip started--the fishing!  Very few trout were caught before noon.  However, after the noon stocking, many Scouts could not stop bringing them out of the water!

While some of the younger Scouts learned Totin' Chip and Fireman Chit, some of the older Scouts ventured to the shooting range and dared to fire the 12 gauge shotgun!  It was an entertaining day and everyone slept well that night.

On Sunday morning, after a breakfast of leftovers, we took the tents down and got our stuff together for the ride back to Maytown.  All had gone well and everyone had a good time!
